Ming Engineering Plastic Sdn. Bhd. through her core business in trading and recycling of Industrial Waste such as plastic scraps, ferrous & non-ferrous metal waste, Full recovery of schedule waste such as SW 110 including Precious Metals Reclamation, SW104, SW204, SW325, SW414, SW 409, SW 206, SW 410, SW 422, SW 423 and plastic recycling, plastic materials compounding and colour masterbatch manufacturing is committed to excellence in environment health and safety with prevention of pollution and risk of injury and ill-health through continual improvement of our Environmental Health and Safety Management System. Every Ming Engineering employee is expected to actively support this policy and to implement the following guiding elements:

Ming Engineering Plastic Sdn Bhd (MEPSB) is committed to provide a working environment where the human rights of worker are upheld and employees are treated with dignity and respect. MEPSB management and all of its employees shall be responsible in conducting business activities in accordance with the Electronics Industry Citizenship Coalition’s Code of Conduct (“EICC Code”), and local Human Resources (HR) policies.

  • I. MEPSB is committed to conduct its business in an honest and professional manner and uses the Code as its guide to promote compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules and regulations and the prompt reporting of possible Code violations.

This Labor and Ethics Policy applies to all employees and suppliers of MEPSB and shall be implemented in accordance with local labor laws. MEPSB shall adopt a management system whose scope is related to the content of this Policy. The management system shall be designed to ensure (a) compliance with applicable laws, regulations and customer requirements related to MEPSB operations and products; (b) conformance with this Policy; and (c) identification and mitigation of operational risks related to this Policy. It should also facilitate continual improvement.

Each MEPSB factory director shall be responsible in fulfilling this commitment by providing direction to attain compliance with all applicable labor laws and standards.

Each local Human Resources Department head shall be MEPSB’s designated representative for labor and ethics polices and shall be responsible for assuring and facilitating compliance with labor and ethics laws, regulations, codes, standards, and management systems. The local Human Resources Department will work with the appropriate departments to:

- Identify, monitor and understand applicable labor and ethics laws and standards,

- Identify and assess labor practice and ethics risks associated with MEPSB operations and then develop and implement appropriate procedures to manage identified risks,

- Establish labor and ethics objectives and perform a periodic assessment to assess achievement of objectives,

- Create training programs for managers and workers to implement policies and procedures,

- Communicate information about policies and practices to stakeholders, and

- Conduct periodic self-evaluations and maintain appropriate documents and records.

  • 1. The commitment to continual improvement and prevention of pollution as well as to comply with applicable legal requirements and other requirements by the management of Ming Engineering (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. Plastic is reflected in the Environmental health and safety Policy as follows:

    Recovery waste or materials that do not use non-hazardous waste. Electrolysis of precious metals from parts, electronics, metal plating solution. Filters that have an element of precious metal sludge containing elements of precious metals from industrial metal plating and electronics. Melt casting of precious metals

    - Ming Engineering (Thailand) Co., Ltd. Plastic shall conduct its activities in accordance with full compliance with all applicable legal and other requirements.
    - Ming Engineering (Thailand) Co., Ltd. Plastic continually assesses the environmental health and safety impact, and minimizing adverse consequences to the environment, safety and health.
    - Ming Engineering (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. Plastic shall establish a consensus among employees on promoting conservation of resources, prevention of pollution and potential hazardous activities.

  • 2. The environmental health and safety policy shall provide the framework for setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets.

  • 3. It shall be made available to interested parties upon request.

  • 4. To ensure understanding, implementation and maintenance of the policy, department heads shall brief existing employees while new employees are to be briefed during their orientation. Besides, the policy shall be put up in strategic locations in the company.

  • 5. All persons working at site on behalf of Ming Engineering (Thailand) Co., Ltd. Plastic such as contractors shall be briefed on the policy.
